What Makes a Graphics & Design App Genuinely Good?

A high star rating doesn't tell the whole story. Two graphics & design apps can both have 4.6 stars, but one might have 50,000 furious 1-star reviews hidden under the volume of mediocre 5-stars. Our ranking divides negative reviews by total ratings: giving you a true picture of how often users actually have a bad time.

For graphics & design apps specifically, we filter for at least 1,000 ratings and ★ 4.0+ overall. That weeds out brand-new apps gaming the system with friends-and-family reviews, and surfaces the apps that have stood the test of real users at scale. Click any app to see its actual negative reviews, word cloud, and AI-generated issue summary.
