We read 765 substantial negative reviews from a 282 day window and hand-verified 150 about connecting a bank, 19.6% of every real complaint. The largest group, 48 reviews, describes the same loop: the bank confirms the link, and the app asks for it again.
ESPN holds 4.40 stars from 1,209,731 Google Play ratings. We read 1,591 substantial negative reviews from the last twelve months. 476 of them mention money, and 107 describe paying for ESPN and still not being able to watch: sign-ins that will not stick, subscriptions the app does not recognise, and blackouts nobody mentioned at checkout.
Groupon holds 4.38 stars from 1,707,435 Google Play ratings. We read 496 substantial negative reviews from a 12 month window. 147 mention a refund and 79 describe being refused or paid in Groupon Bucks, and the reason given is rarely the merchant: it is the three day window or a voucher already marked redeemed.
Fubo holds 3.07 stars from 51,356 Google Play ratings. We read 523 substantial negative reviews from a 12 month window. 275 are about money rather than channels, 80 mention cancelling and being charged, and 9 report a charge that landed before the advertised trial window closed.
Rakuten holds 3.34 stars from 74,509 Google Play ratings. We read 252 substantial negative reviews from a 12 month window. 59 report cash back that never arrived, and the reason they name is rarely a missed click: the purchase tracked and was disqualified afterwards.
Pokémon GO holds 3.55 stars from 15,373,009 Google Play ratings. We read 1,324 substantial negative reviews from a 57 day window. 63 describe a paid raid pass consumed by a freeze, crash or server failure, and the September share is 14.0% against 1.3% in August.
Google Home holds 4.02 stars from 3,654,291 Google Play ratings, and 53.1% of its 4,000 most recent US reviews are one star. We read 1,340 substantial complaints spanning 147 days. 136 blame the switch from Google Assistant to Gemini, and that share has not moved in five months.
Samsung Health holds 3.16 stars from 1,578,667 Google Play ratings, and 3,243 of its 4,000 most recent US reviews are 1-3 stars. We read the 2,082 substantial ones. 773 blame the 7.0 redesign, and sorting by installed build shows the first 7.0 release averaging 1.74 stars against 2.57 for the last 6.x.
Everand holds 3.52 stars from 614,520 Google Play ratings. We read 1,658 substantial negative reviews spanning 866 days. Before November 2024, 3 of 177 mentioned unlocks or credits. After it, 481 of 1,481 did, and monthly complaint volume went from 29 to 110.
MoneyLion holds 4.49 stars from 218,368 Google Play ratings. We read 965 substantial negative reviews from fourteen months and hand-verified 50 about deleting or closing an account. All 50 are one-star, the highest rate we have measured on any theme, and 29 say the only way out is a phone call.
Pandora holds 3.89 stars on Google Play against 4.80 on the App Store. We read 1,103 substantial negative reviews from nine months: 227 describe the app crashing or stopping on its own, and the rate has not moved across twelve builds. Sorted by hand, they fall into three patterns.
Reviewers reset the password, land back on the login screen, and cannot refill their plan. We read 1,048 substantial negative Google Play reviews: 256 are about signing in, and the rate has not moved in eleven months.
