We read 4,615 substantial negative reviews from a continuous 553 day run and hand-verified 131 about the item scanner failing on shopping orders. After seven months under 1.1%, it took 14.7% of all complaints in May 2026, builds 4.40.0 and 4.40.1 carry about a fifth of their own complaints on it, and a July fix was followed by a new freeze with a technical issue prompt.
Netflix holds 4.41 stars from 16,109,794 Google Play ratings. We read 2,186 substantial negative reviews from a continuous 103 day run and hand-verified 103 about casting. In the week of 7 September they were 25.0% of every complaint Netflix received, and one build carries 41.4% of its own complaints on this subject alone. Four reviewers report the button came back, and Dutch, Swedish and Czech reviewers date an earlier device cutoff to the first days of December 2025.
