HBO Max holds 4.78 stars from 5,715,537 Google Play ratings. We read 342 substantial negative reviews from ten weeks and hand-verified 77 about advertising, 22.5% of every real complaint. Sixteen say they pay for an ad-free plan and still see ads, seventeen say the ad break breaks the video, and the same rate shows up in fifteen other countries.

Twenty-eight of them name both a dollar figure and a distance: across the 33 offers they describe, the median works out to 42 cents a mile, and 29 of the 33 fall under a dollar.

Affirm holds 4.78 stars from 565,491 Google Play ratings. We read 384 substantial negative reviews from six months and confirmed 88 about approval: 40 lost purchasing power while paying on time, 27 were declined on a number the app had shown them, and 9 were declined after the down payment had already left their account.
